Towson Tigers Women's Basketball Lancaster Sport reviews
The Lumineers Delivered.
The best concert I have been to, hands down. This one takes the cake, I have attended a handful of concerts at the Greek Theater and a lot of shows put on by Another Planet. Despite their low key vibe, the opening acts provided high energy. Jeremiah, Wesley, and Neyla happily surprised me when they performed a song with Sawmill Joe during the opening act. A rare feeling was the strong sense of community with the bands and the crowd. There was a significant lack of arms holding up camera phones at the first concert I attended. Perhaps it was because the crowd wanted to immerse themselves in the moment or the band requested the crowd to "Be with them tonight." Just for this simple act of courtesy, I felt like I traveled back in time, and it made all the difference in my experience. One of the unreleased songs was played by the band, which I appreciated even though I have listened to it a million times on YouTube. The crowd's desire to hear every fresh lyric and their lingering silence was invigorating. The Towson Tigers Women's Basketball did a fantastic job performing their regular songs, of course. Shocked I was to see so many people who never missed a beat or a line - there were some dedicated fans in the crowd that night. Their dedication was acknowledged by the band, and a few songs were even performed out in the crowd. Sitting in that section during that moment, I'm sure those people were beyond stocked to be. So welcome to their music, I felt during the entire concert. A great way to close the show was the invitation for the call and response quip during "Big Parade." A nice gesture as well was the simple act of throwing the coveted set lists into the pit at the end of the night (I caught half of one, needless to say, I went home beyond thrilled). This band delivers, and I would recommend their concert to anyone, young or old. Timeless is their music, and the energy and persona match it.
